How do I apply for a vacancy? (Not registered)

  1. If you find a job you're interested in, click the Apply Now button;
  2. You will be taken to the job basket – make sure the job you’re interested in is ticked and then enter your email address in the text field and click Apply for Selected Jobs.
  3. You will then be taken to a registration screen.

In order to register, you'll need to do the following:

  • Enter a password;
  • Confirm password;
  • Choose whether to add a CV and whether it’s searchable by Recruiters;*
  • Enter first name;
  • Enter last name;
  • Choose whether you want to receive an Email Job Alert and set up your first alert;**
  • Select whether you are authorised to work in the UK;
  • When you have completed the form click the green Submit button;
  • You will then be on the Job Application page;
  • If you uploaded a CV during the previous registration screen, you will simply have to type your covering letter and press submit;
  • If you did not upload a CV during the previous registration screen, you will need to upload it on the job application page as you cannot submit an application without a CV;
  • Your application will be submitted once you select Submit. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you registered with.

You will then be taken to a further details screen. You can complete this at this stage or alternatively fill in your details at a later date. It is advisable however to make sure that your profile is as detailed as possible as it will increase your chances of finding that dream job.

How do I apply for a vacancy (registered user)?

How do I apply for a vacancy when logged in?

  1. If you find a job you are interested in, click the green Apply Now button;
  2. You will be taken to the job basket – tick the job you are interested in and click Apply for Selected Jobs.
  3. You will then be on the My Application page;
  4. Choose whether you use your existing stored CV or upload a new CV;
  5. Type your covering letter into the Covering Letter field;
  6. Press the green Submit button and your application will be processed;
  7. You will be presented with a confirmation page informing you that your application and CV have been forwarded to the recruiter who advertised the vacancy. You will also receive an email confirming this.

How do I apply for a vacancy when not logged in?

  1. If you find a job you are interested in, click the green Apply Now button;
  2. You will be taken to the job basket – make sure the job you are interested in is ticked and then enter your email address in the text field and click Apply for Selected Jobs.
  3. You will then be taken to a login screen where you’ll need to enter your password;
  4. You will then be on the My Application page;
  5. Choose whether you use your existing stored CV or upload a new CV;
  6. Type your covering letter into the Covering Letter field;
  7. Press submit and you will have applied for the job;
  8. You will be presented with a confirmation page informing you that your application and CV have been forwarded to the recruiter who advertised the vacancy. You will also receive an email confirming this.

Will My Application be Taken Further ?

If you require personal feedback on any of your applications, you will need to contact the recruitment agency or employer who advertised that particular vacancy. We do not have a view of the recruitment process after your application is submitted to the recruiter.

In order to contact a recruiter, you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Click on the relevant job (blue underlined link);
  2. Click on Contact Recruiter within the Toolbox option on the left hand-side of the Job Description page;
  3. You should be able to contact the recruiter via email and/or telephone. Please be aware that telephone information is not always included.

How do I find out more information about a vacancy?

If you're looking for more detail about an advertised vacancy, you will need to speak to the recruiter who advertised that job.

In order to contact a recruiter, you will need to do the following steps:

  1. Click on the relevant job (blue underlined link);
  2. Click on Contact Recruiter within the Toolbox option on the left hand-side of the Job Description page;
  3. You should be able to contact the recruiter via email and/or telephone. Please be aware that telephone information is not always included.
